Xylem Rural Consultancy was formed in 2017 as a subsidiary to J Tamblyn & Son, a food and farming business based in Cornwall since 1943. The business is still based at Holwood farm, but now offers agronomy and crop input supply across Devon and Cornwall and consultancy services across the wider South West and beyond.

Our focus is to help clients build financially sustainable business' by utilising smart decision making, leveraging efficiency and drawing from multiple income streams.

Our agronomy customers are able to access significant cost savings through the use of carefully selected products from a range of manufacturers, including many good quality generic or white label formulations. We offer an unrivalled level of service to our customers and make sure we are always easy to contact and available for queries.

Over recent years we have become specialists in SFI and Capital grant applications, with clients throughout the country. We offer fair and transparent fees and crucially with our practical knowledge of farming and crop growth, design schemes that are joined up practical for each farm business.
